NDEP works to protect the land from contamination in order to provide Nevadans with a clean and healthy state. Our mining and waste permitting programs minimize impacts to the environment. Where contamination is discovered, our environmental cleanup programs provide the oversight and support services to conduct effective cleanup activities.

Report illegal dumping:

• Clark County: 702-759-0600, or use the Online Reporting Form 
   
• Washoe County: 775-329-DUMP (if you see illegal dumping in progress, call 775-785-WCSO)
   
• All other areas, report illegal dumpsites to your local public safty dispatch.
