The Bureaus of Air Pollution Control and Air Quality Planning work to tackle the challenges of maintaining the air quality in a growing State. The Air Bureaus implement permitting programs and long-term strategies to improve air quality. The Air Bureaus are also tasked with a program to help prevent chemical accidents at industrial facilities.
