On January 10, 2017, the EPA finalized changes to the Regional Haze Rule, which requires each state to submit periodic SIP revisions addressing regional haze visibility impairment. The SIP is submitted to address certain requirements of 40 CFR Part 51 Section 308 and demonstrates NV has met the requirements of the regional haze program for the second planning period.
