Notice: The 2013 Mining Stormwater General Permit (NVR300000) has been administratively continued while a permit renewal is being drafted. Renewal notices will be mailed once the new permit has been issued.

NDEP suggests users read the fact sheet and the general permit listed below and related information to determine if your activity requires a mining stormwater permit.

If you are subject to the permitting requirements, please complete a Notice of Intent (NOI) for coverage under the General Permit by completing the Online form (see link below.) After completing the online form you will need to print the document and mail it to NDEP at the address indicated.

Applies to:

Mineral Industry Facilities defined within SIC code 10 under Category III of 40 CFR §122.26(b)(14. Facilities with Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activity from metals mining activities to Waters of the U. S.
