NDEP is reviewing the regulations it administers, including those overseen by the State Environmental Commission, the Board to Review Claims (Petroleum), and the Board for Financing Water Projects. This review follows a statewide directive requiring all executive branch agencies to evaluate their regulations, identify opportunities to clarify, streamline, or update them, and ensure they continue to protect the public and environment without creating unnecessary burdens on economic activity.
