Lead and Copper Rule Revisions and Lead Service Line Inventory
SEPTEMBER 2024 UPDATE: The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) plans to adopt the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) and Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) by amending Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 445A in 2025. In the interim, NDEP has a primacy extension agreement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Any enforcement required under the LCRR starting on October 16, 2024, will be issued by the EPA. Per the primacy extension agreement, NDEP and the EPA will work together to implement the new regulation.
