Public Notice – CatEx for Gerlach General Improvement District (GGID)

NDEP — Bureau of Administrative Services — Office of Financial Assistance has determined the project for GGID-Gerlach Wastewater Capacity Increase is eligible for a Categorical Exclusion (CatEx) by the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 445A.67583. The GGID has applied for funding to upgrade and increase the capacity of their lagoon wastewater treatment facility by introducing mechanical aeration using a submersible diffused (fine bubble) aeration system and adding piping to add geothermal wastewater during low flow periods. Individuals wishing to obtain further information regarding the project should submit their comments no later than September 16, 2026.
