Consultants

NDEP has a consultant certification program. Before any person consults for a fee in matters concerning the list noted below, they must be certified.

• Management of hazardous waste;
• Investigation of a release or potential release of a hazardous substance;
• Sampling of any media to determine the release of a hazardous substance;
• Response to a release or cleanup of a hazardous substance; or
• Remediation soil or water contaminated with a hazardous substance.
