Grants of up to $200,000 are available for local governments, tribal governments, and non-profits to:
- Perform due diligence prior to acquisition (Phase I Environmental Site Assessment)
- Assess sites for potential contamination (Phase II Environmental Site Assessment)
- Clean-up sites to prepare for redevelopment
Over $700,000 is available in a revolving loan fund to cover cleanup costs for sites with environmental contamination. These loans offer below-market rates and flexible repayment options, and are available to local and tribal governments, non-profits, and private landowners or developers.
Brownfields projects in Nevada may be eligible for a variety of other federal, state, and private funding sources.
