Water Certification Computerized Exams
The State of Nevada Division of Environmental Protection Drinking Water Operator Certification program offers computerized certification exams (through PSI testing services) in addition to written paper exams for all of its certifications. Applications and fees must still be submitted to NDEP as usual with the computerized option selected. Please allow a minimum of 10 working days for application processing.
Upon receiving testing approval from NDEP and eligibility email from PSI, you may then register to take the computerized exam with PSI for an additional fee of $69 (paid to PSI). Instructions on registering for the computerized exams can be found at the following here.

2025 Exams
Exams will be proctored per the dates and locations listed below. Examinees: send the original form along with fees to BSDW's Operator Certification Program and keep a copy for your records. Examinees will be contacted by a proctor with testing schedule details and logistics.
Exam Applications
We encourage operators to submit applications early in case we need more information before the deadline. If you have any questions, please contact us before you apply. Completed applications and fees must be received at the NDEP's Carson City office by 5:00 pm on or before the deadline. Follow all instructions on the form and ensure your application and attachments are complete.
Application Fees
Application review fees may be paid by using E-Pay. When using E-Pay it is important that you follow the instructions on the application. Upon successful payment you will receive a confirmation email that you will submit along with your application. Prior to submitting, please scan all pages of your application and the fee confirmation into one document.
