Public Notice - CatEx for Gold Country

The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) – Bureau of Administrative Services – Office of Financial Assistance has determined the project for Gold Country is eligible for a categorical exclusion as defined by the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 445A.6758 to 445A.67612. Humboldt County has applied for funding for a drinking water intertie between Gold Country and the Star City water system. The connection will allow nitrate levels to be addressed by blending the two systems to provide safe drinking water. People wishing to obtain further information regarding the project should submit their comments no later than January 17, 2025.
