Public Notice - Cat Ex for Canyon GID

The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) — Bureau of Administrative Services — Office of Financial Assistance has determined the project for Canyon General Improvement District (GID) is eligible for a categorical exclusion as defined by the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 445A.6758 to 445A.67612. Canyon GID has applied for funding for a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER), Environmental Assessment (EA), the rehabilitation of an existing water storage tank, and the installation of Fixed-Base Radio Read Water Meters at selected meter sites. This project is a proactive conservation effort to increase efficiency and extend sustainability to the existing system. Persons wishing to obtain further information regarding the project should submit their comments no later than January 17, 2025. Comments can be submitted to Daniel Morgan, Environmental Scientist, Office of Financial Assistance, State Revolving Fund Program, Nevada Division of Environmental Protection.
