In partnership with local organizations, the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection is launching the first annual NV Food Waste Awareness Month!

Please join us for our kick-off Food Waste 101 webinar followed by a mix of in-person and virtual events hosted by some of Nevada's most prominent food waste warriors.

April 1: Food Waste 101 Powerpoint Presentation 

Watch this webinar for an overview of food waste, why it's important, how to measure it, and how to battle it! You will have a better understanding of food waste's environmental, social, and economic impacts and actionable tips and tricks to reduce your contribution to the food waste problem!

April 2: KTMB’s Food For Thought: A deeper look at food waste prevention and composting, 10:00am - 12:00pm
