Public Notice - FONSI for Las Vegas Valley Water District

FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT 
DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN 
The Nevada Administrative Code (NAC), in Sections NAC 445A.6758 to 445A.67612, inclusive, outlines the environmental review procedures to be followed by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) to meet the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). In accordance with these procedures, NDEP intends to issue a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the 2-phase systemwide upgrades proposed by Las Vegas Valley Water District for the Big Bend Water District’s community Public Water System (PWS NV0004092) that serves the City of Laughlin located in Clark County, Nevada. The Project will utilize funds from the Nevada Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund (DWSRF). The Phase 1 of this project was approved for funding by the Board for Financing Water Projects. The Phase 2 of this project is also under review for potential funding support by DWSRF.
