NDEP's Mercury Air Sampling Initiative — January 2007 Update
RFP for Research on Mercury Fugitives — OVERVIEW OF PROJECT: The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Division of Environmental Protection, is seeking responsible vendors to determine whether the amount of mercury air emissions from land disturbed by current mining activity is significantly different from mercury air emissions from similarly mineralized undisturbed land. The State is seeking a two-year contract anticipated to commence approximately May 1, 2007.
