BUILDING 104-3 CATCHMENT PIT
SITE DESCRIPTION
HWAAP-B34, is an unlined surface impoundment (approx. 100'x30'x5'), that is located east of Building 104-3. The pit has been used since 1940s  to collect steam blowdown from Boiler Plant 104-2 and waste water containing explosives from 104-3. Groundwater is approx. 160' below surface.
