BUILDING 103-7 INERT WASTE IMPOUNDMENT
SITE DESCRIPTION
HWAAP-B25 is an open pit approximately 10'x20'x1', located adjacent to Building 103-7 that operated during the 1960's and early 1970's to receive  waste water containing packing plaster, cement and vermiculite from loading inert bombs. The Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study was completed in December 1998 and approval for NFA was received. There was no evidence of a release of metals or explosives to the soil.
PROPOSED PLAN
A Closure Decision Document was approved by the NDEP in March 2000.
