COAL ASH LANDFILL (NOT OPEN)
SITE DESCRIPTION
HWAAP-A03 is an abandoned landfill located in the WADF area. The site has never been used for the disposal of coal ash though an operational permit
was issued. In 1994, the investigation activities included collection of two surface soil samples. During sampling low background concentrations of metals were detected. No other chemicals of concern were detected.
PROPOSED PLAN
Response Complete. A Closure Decision Document was approved by the NDEP in July 1999. Site closed.
