    Friday, March 9, 2012 — NEMO Nevada Water Quality Workshop (8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon): This free workshop will be taught live at the NEW Washoe County Cooperative Extension Office, 4955 Energy Way, Reno. Energy Way can be accessed from Rock Boulevard, between MillStreet and Longley Lane. Please call 784-4848 if you require further instructions.

    Who should attend? —Planning officials and staff, commissioners, decision makers, advisory board members, engineers, developers and interested residents.     May 2011: National Drinking Water Week —Each year, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and an alliance of organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), sponsor National Drinking Water Week to highlight the importance of tap water and the need to reinvest in our water infrastructure.     Pedaling Your Watershed Cycles & Science Workshop [June 18, 2010; 8:30 am – 4:30 pm] —This watershed workshop will cycle along the beautiful Truckee River bike path. We begin at the Oxbow Nature Study Area with cycle safety and Safe Routes to Schools. We cycle to the McKinley Arts Center, Rock Park, and E.
