To develop and publish a report of cooperative efforts of State and federal agencies'

UNR - Cooperative Extension
To educate the general public about reducing the potential for shallow ground water
contamination from septic systems.
Grazing Conferences
Nevada Association of Conservation Districts
To develop three NPS workshops throughout the State. The worshops addressed NPS
issues as they relate to livestock operators. An example of a workshop is: How to
identify, monitor, and particiapte in NPS assistance programs.

UNR - Department of Agricultural Economics
To implement a national program of ground water protection that employs an educational
component, on-farm risk assessments, and helps individuals with risk-reduction
assistance.
Nevada Project WET

To train educators in teaching water resources topics and to prepare educational
materials.
Nevada Seedbank Program
Nevada Division of Forestry
To construct a safe and accessible storage building for seed storage and maintenance,
and to purchase appropriate native and adapted seeds.
Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Class V Well Inventory
& Public Education
Nevada Rural Counties RSVP, Inc.
To inventory the Class V wells (shallow disposal wells or dry wells) in the following
counties: Douglas, Lyon, White Pine, Lincoln and Lander. Inventory information
collected include the physical address,
latitude and longitude, existing land use and well status.
RSVP Wellhead Protection, Contaminant Source Inventory
Nevada Rural Counties RSVP, Inc.
To utilize volunteers from the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) to conduct
source inventories in local communities implementing a State-endorsed wellhead
protection program.
