This page provides GIS coverage data for use in GIS and mapping applications. Water Quality Standards
Nevada 2006 303d/305b Assessed Waters
Provided for download are coverages of the 2006 assessed waters in Nevada: 1) Lakes and Reservoirs, 2) Rivers and Streams, and 3) waters with total maximum daily loads (TMDL's). These files contain the waters incorporated within Nevada's Assessment (ADB) Database. The assessed waters shape files were created from a related geodatabase and represent a "flat file" format of the data. Also provided for download are base mapping data: 1) a coverage of the hydrographic regions the Water Quality Standards Branch uses and 2) general Nevada base map data. The files have been zipped for easy download and must be extracted before use.

Water Quality Planning will be writing Nevada's 2008-2010 integrated 303d/305b report to be released in the spring of 2010. The GIS coverages may change as we move through this process and will become final once the report is completed.
