Sampling Location Description
Standards apply from Telephone Line Road to the confluence of the Las Vegas Wash with Lake Mead. To find this site, drive south from Las Vegas, NV on US Hwy 93/95 (Boulder Hwy). Take Lake Mead Drive exit east to Northshore Road. Turn left on Northshore Road to the bridge where the Las Vegas Wash crosses under the bridge. Hike down to the wash and collect samples.
Beneficial Uses = Irrigation, Watering of livestock, Recreation not involving contact with the water, Propagation of wildlife, Freshwater marsh maintenance, Esthetics, Propagation of aquatic life, excluding fish.
