Sampling Location Description
The same standards that apply from Battle Mountain upstream to the Palisade control point, also apply to Pine Creek. From Carlin, NV, travel south on Hwy 278. Travel approximately 7.5 miles to the turnoff for Palisade. Turn right, then turn left onto a dirt road. Follow this dirt road through the cattle gates down to the creek. Collect samples here.
