Sampling Location Description

Standards apply from the east line of T42 R59E M.D.B. & M. to its confluence with the Humboldt River. To find this site, drive east on Interstate 80 from Elko, NV to the Deeth/Starr Valley exit (exit 333) and turn right. Follow signs to Deeth and turn left. Travel about .9 miles and turn left towards Charleston. Approximately 8.6 miles, turn right at the Y in the road. Travel approximately 5.6 miles to a two wheel dirt road and turn right. Follow road through BLM gate to the river. Collect samples here.

Beneficial Uses = Irrigation, Watering of livestock, Recreation not involving contact with the water, Industrial supply, Municipal or domestic supply, Propagation of wildlife, Propagation of aquatic life.
