In general the policy states that Nevada will protect public health and welfare, prevent water or air pollution, prevent the spread of disease and the creation of nuisances, conserve natural resources, and enhance the beauty and quality of the environment. In addition the Solid Waste Branch also has responsibilities for Recycling.
