- July 30, 2002 -- Letter from Paul Liebendorfer to Frank Di Sanza, DOE/Nevada -- The letter is in reference to the disposal of radioactive waste at the NTS; the waste was potentially considered a mixed waste. The waste was shipped from DOE's Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant and was dispose of at NTS in the Area 5 waste disposal facility.

- April 13, 2000 -- Letter From Carl Gertz, DOE - Nevada to Paul Libendorfer - NDEP DOE's letter address State concerns regarding hydrologic data collection and funding requirements to support the underground test area (UGRA) project at the Nevada Test Site (NTS). DOE's letter is in response to an NDEP letter dated February 28, 2000 -- see below.

- June 8, 1998 -- Letter from Paul Liebendorfer to Gerald Johnson, Manager - U.S. Department of Energy Nevada Operations Office (The State's letter suggests that DOE's national and site specific cleanup plans for the NTS are delinquent in meeting DOE's responsibility to address cleanup of all contaminated sites on the NTS (i.e., selected industrial sites and contaminated facilities). The letter takes issue with DOE Defense Program (DP) suggesting that DP is either unable or unmotivated to prioritize cleanup activities that are under DP's jurisdiction at the NTS).
- June 30, 1998 -- Letter to Governor Bob Miller from Energy Secretary Pena. The Secretary's letter provides a brief update and summary of activities initiated to address the leaking box incidents involving shipments of low-level radioactive waste between Fernald, Ohio and the Nevada Test Site.
