State of Nevada Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Plan ( May 2005 — 278 Pages - 2.4MB) — The Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Plan was developed in cooperation with NDEP's support agencies to outline how State agencies will respond to hazardous materials incidents statewide. The plan outlines the roles and responsibilities of various state and federal agencies, the process by which local governments can request assistance, statutory and regulatory authorities, and an extensive contacts and communication section.

The Lake Tahoe Geographic Response Plan (LTGRP): This plan establishes the policies, responsibilities, and procedures required to protect life, environment, and property from the effects of hazardous materials incidents. This plan establishes the emergency response organization for hazardous materials incidents occurring within the Lake Tahoe watershed. The plan is generally intended to be used for oil spills or chemical releases that impact or could potentially impact drainages entering Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe itself, and its outflow at the Truckee River.

The Lower Colorado Geographic Response Plan (LCGRP): This plan is the principal guide for emergency preparedness and response along the Lower Colorado River from Hoover Dam to the United States/Mexico Border. This plan is consistent with the National Contingency Plan (NCP) and is intended to facilitate multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional coordination, communication and collaboration among local, State and Federal agencies, Tribal nations, and industry when responding to oil and hazardous material emergencies. The LCGRP is divided into three Areas:
