This electronic July 2007 newsletter provides recent regulatory news of general interest to environmental professionals practicing as Certified Environmental Managers (CEMs), Underground Storage Tank Handlers (UTHs), and Underground Storage Tank Testers (UTTs) in Nevada.

New UIC General Permits for Remediation Sites
The Underground Injection Control Program has completed the development of new UIC general permits for remediation sites. A new webpage has been created to explain the new permits. These new permits will help streamline permitting, improve coordination on what is submitted to the Bureau of Corrective Actions as part of UIC applications and reporting, and reduce the volume of paper reports.
