Nevada Mercury Control Program (NMCP) - NvMACT Clearinghouse
| 2006 Questionnaires |
| The 2006 Questionnaires are based on 2004 production data. The intent of the Questionnaire was to provide data for the development of the NMCP and to begin an inventory of thermal units applicable to the NvMACT process. | |
| Phase-1 Applications |
The purpose of Phase-1 is to issue permits that require the continued proper operation of existing mercury controls and to implement work practice standards on units without controls to minimize mercury emissions until NvMACT is determined. Phase-1 permits do not have mercury emission limits. Mercury emission limits are established in Phase-2 after the Maximum Achievable Control Technology is determined for every thermal unit (which is not De Minimis). Phase-1 permits also define the stack testing requirements. Please note that applications are subject to change until permit is issued. |
| Phase-2 Applications |
| The Phase-2 applications contain the NvMACT analysis wherein facilites propose the Maximun Achievable Control Technology for thermal units. The Phase-2 permits contain a performance standard (emission limit) for mercury emissions along with monitoring, record keeping and stack testing requirements. Please note that applications are subject to change until permit is issued. | |
| Mercury Emissions Stack Test Reports |
| Stack tests are provided as complete reports in PDF format. Reports are scanned after NDEP review and added to the download list. The download list contains all known historic tests performed prior to the 2006 NMCP test requirements. Tests prior to 2006 are for reference purposes only; they are not applied to the NMCP. Only NDEP-validated tests after 2006 are applied to the NMCP. Please note that the reports may be large; please be patient during download. | |
