Environmental laboratories that analyze water and soil samples for compliance purposes must be certified by the State of Nevada. The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Water Quality Planning certifies environmental laboratories for drinking water, wastewater, and RCRA analyses.
Attention Nevada Certified Laboratories
The renewal period is now open for the 2008-2009 year. You may resubmit last years application if the following conditions are met:
- If corrections were made to your application the corrected version must be submitted. If you do not have this copy of file, contact us and we will email you the copy we have on file.
- If multiple applications were submitted last year all the information must be consolidated into one application.
- Any changes in methods/analytes or personnel may be made to the application.
- The invoice page in the workbook is now considered to be an estimation of fees page. An invoice will be emailed to your lab. Payment is required with-in 30-days of receipt of the invoice.
- If the total fee for your lab exceeds $10,000 it must be paid electronically. We will contact you with the new procedure if your lab falls into this category.
- All PTs and out of state accreditations must be current and in compliance.
- Please sign and submit the compliance page with your 2008-2009 renewal. This may be done electronically if you have the ability to do so,
