Sampling Location Description
The same standards that apply to Steamboat Creek from the USGS gaging station at Rhodes Road to it's confluence with the Truckee River, also apply to Steamboat Ditch. To find this site, drive north from Carson City, NV on US Hwy 395 through Washoe Valley. Pass through Washoe City and continue to Rhodes Road. Turn right then turn left. As you look down towards Steamboat Creek, Steamboat Ditch will be to your left. Collect samples here.
