Sampling Location Description
The same standards that apply from the USGS gaging station at Rhodes Road to Steamboat Creek's confluence with the Truckee River, also apply to Yori Drain. To find this site, drive north from Carson City, NV on US Hwy 395 to Reno. Continue to Longley Road and turn right. Go to McCarran Road and turn right. Continue to Clean Water Way and turn right. Sampling site is located on the University of Nevada's Department of Agriculture property and permission must be granted before going to this site.
Beneficial Uses = Recreation not involving contact with the water, Aquatic life, Propagation of wildlife, Irrigation, Watering of livestock, Industrial supply except for food processing purposes.
